Down to scale.

Jewellers use a casting technique where pieces are first made in wax and then cast in plaster.
The wax is melted out of the plaster mould and liquid metal fills the empty space.
After cooling the plaster is removed and what is left is a casting-tree.
The installation 'Down to Scale' is a presentation, a forest- landscape of jewellery. In this project
I show jewellery in its primal shape, in the form of a cast tree. The casting-tree is one of the first
stages in a process that is normally not avaiable/accessible for anybody else than the maker.
